I wrote this today. It’s in ottava rima: eight lines per stanza, iambic pentameter (an iamb is a metrical foot - or a pair of syllables, unstressed+stressed, like daDA - and there are five iambs per line, which means there are ten syllables per line), and an abababcc rhyme scheme.
This is the first draft. Comments are lovely.
